Dear FaithLine Partner,

So many things are happening here at your FaithLine! God is good —– all of the time.”

Your orders for my “Jesus One Step” book in the Editor’s Edition have been difficult to fill. But, today the last of the orders went out in the mail.

We have found more little Jacob Pooh Bears, and we are busy getting them adopted to our listeners. After all, everyone needs a Pooh to hug while I put them to sleep on Sunday mornings.

Our program with homeless young women is coming right along. Each one that comes to us to learn of the love of Jesus, brings in another. I am in hard prayer that God will bless us with a home for these young people very soon.

They come to us out of families riddled with drugs, sexual abuse, and hunger. They have never heard or felt the love of God in their young lives. Then — Praise God! — they hear The FaithLine, accept Jesus as their Savior, and they come.

When they come to us, they know nothing of Jesus, or how to make it in the world. Their role models have been drug addicts, criminals, and — well, Dear One, much worse.

We have to teach them how to read, study, apply for and hold down a job (work is foreign to them), how to shop, how to cook, and how to be responsible adults. Of course, we teach them about our dear Lord Jesus.

Soon, very soon, we must have a building where they can sleep without fear. A place where we can teach them about our God that they now love.

There are so many of these wonderful young, but damaged young women. We are frankly overwhelmed by the need. We are doing all that we can in your name, as we represent the only source of love they have ever known.

There is more happening here at your FaithLine. Winter is almost here. We are asking our partners to help the homeless children (There are millions of them.) to keep warm.

We are asking those who can knit to knit wool caps and scarves. We are asking others to send used, but clean, blankets, backpacks, sweaters, etc. These children have been “thrown away” by their parents, and ignored by the overworked community social programs.

Sister Renee and I will add a New Testament to every piece of warm clothing we receive. Then, we will see to it that some homeless child is blessed.

Many of our partners have already begun to respond. One woman in Southern California wrote: “I knit to keep myself busy. I am alone, you see. This gives my life a purpose. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful ministry.” She is knitting ski caps and scarves, and we are placing a “Jesus Loves Me” pin and New Testament in the container that will soon be handed to some cold and lonely young soul this Winter.

As you might guess, “our girls” are excited about the project. “They need Jesus just like I did.” They tell me. Every day they want to know when we can begin handing out the warm clothing and blankets.

I know that there are many ministries out there, but I truly love The FaithLine! You are the most wonderful Partners in Christ in the world. When asked, you pick up the Cross without question. Maybe it is because we are “night people”, or maybe it is because we know what it is like to be lost out there in the world without hope.

Sister Carol (The one that we call, Lovekin.) is busy down there in Hayward making CHRISTmas baskets. These beautiful baskets will be offered for donations to help with the projects, and given to rest homes, and the needy.

I know that I should be using this space to teach the Bible. But, Dear One, I am so excited that I must share what is happening with you.

In the meantime, and in-between time, I am hard at work in the wee hours of the morning writing my next book. I have called it: “The Jesus Two Step” How To Find Your True Love, and Make It Grow.

I am asking each of you to take the time to write to me. I want to know your secrets. How you keep love alive in your relationships, and make them grow. I pray every day that the Holy Spirit will move on you to do this.

I know that there are some of you out there reading this that have been in a loving relationship for many years. You have little things that you do, because you value the love that God has given you, and you do not want to lose it.

Most of the world is lost in worldly love. And, that love is not working. So many of our marriages today end up in divorce —– yes, even in the church. They need to know your “secrets for success in love”. So, if you haven’t already done so, please take the time to write me that letter today.

When you write, let me know whether I can quote you in my book. Thank you!

What else? Well, let’s see. The Devil has been working overtime. I guess you know that. Our mailbox and PrayerLine has been full of sadness and sorrow. Lost jobs, broken marriages, ill health, and just general depression with modern life.

My prayer time has almost doubled, and God is blessing. Now we are hearing about unexpected windfalls of money, found jobs, repaired marriages, and Joy.

The truth is, Dear One, I believe that the time is short until our Lord returns to take us home.

The signs are all around us. Look at all of the war, violence, drugs, sex, and sin in the world. The world is welcoming the Devil! Morals are a thing of the past out there in the world.

Once a month Sister Renee and I look at TV. We skip through the channels all evening to see what is on there. Nothing is food for the child of God. Everything is to serve the purpose of darkness.

Remember: God loves you, and so do we!!

In His Blessed Service,

No wonder our children are going wrong.

In South Africa 4.6 million souls have HIV AIDS. The death sentence is on them. I know that it is worse in other places. I know that. But, you know, no one seems to report it in the news. No one
